   I'm history major, and was looking for options to shift to journalism... then I read the article of A Grech in the Journalism Major. Should I stick to history???

   I think that history is a great major to start journalism, that is of you already write well...
   Maybe you should also take a few courses of writing? In that case you will be doing what you like in both majors...

   I think that anything leads to journalism if you get the opportunity to be published. Not easy in fact if you don't major in it, specially in North America...

   i believe Betty's right, you should take writing courses, because i have a friend who studies in journalism, and the writing courses are very important in her major. Since you already started in history, i think you should stik to it and finish your major: another diploma never killed anyone! plus, as Betty said too, depending on what you want to specialize in, history could be a good start for a major in journalism. good luck!
